Joyful Noise Preschool: ages 3-5, 9:00-11:30 am
Our twelfth year of preschool began on September 6, 2011. We offer two state-licensed programs which meet September through May. The three year old program meets Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-11:30. The four and five year olds meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00-11:30.
Sunday School: Sundays after church service and fellowship
This year the children (grades PreK-4) will be studying lessons from the New Testament. Grades 5-8 will be completing the study of I Peter and then turning our focus on the Gospel of John and Christians in different
cultures. Believer Beaver puppet show is returning for
another year and can be seen during the children's devotion on the 4th Sunday of the month.
Adult Forum/Bible Study: Sundays after church service and fellowship, Wednesdays at 10:30 am
Confirmation Class: Mondays from 6:00 to 7:15 pm
We follow a three year program for the youth. 6th, 7th, and 8th grades (or older) will meet regularly from September-May. We study the basic teachings of the Bible. The classes are augmented by field trips, videos and projects.
Youth Group Bible Study: Sundays after church service and fellowship
This class will give teens (9th grade and up) a chance to get to know each other, study the word of God, and eventually plan some activities together. The group will only be as strong as its members, so come prepared to participate, share ideas, and grow in friendship
and faith.
Choir: Sundays at 8:00 am
Our choir is mixed choir of all ages, ranging from 6th grade through adult. The choir sings a wide variety of musical styles periodically thoughout the year and on major holidays. Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. Spreading the gospel through song is the choir's mission at Emmanuel. .
Worship Music
Praise the Lord with music by playing an instrument or singing in our worship services. Soloists and groups are more than welcomed.
Worship Committee: Second Saturday at 8:00 am
Our worship committee works with the pastor to design the worship service . Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 am.
Ladies Guild: Second Saturday at 9:30 am
Altar Guild
The Altar Guild serves in the care of the altar area. They are also responsible for hanging and maintaining the worship banners. We also prepare for the communion service by setting out the bread and wine. The Altar Guild has six teams of two members. They are always looking for more to join!
Outreach/Evangelism Committee
This committee offers many opportunities for you to share Christ's love with the neighborhood surrounding Emmanuel and in the lives of the lost. Come share with us in helping others.
Bible Information Class
Designed for those curious about Christianity or want to learn more about our beliefs. This class is offered on an as needed basis. Talk to Pastor if you would like more information.
